Order holds before the packing desk
Shopify Automation for Delhi NCR Businesses
For an operations team manually checking payment, address or stock exceptions before releasing Shopify orders.
Shopify operations automation · Delhi NCR
Order holds before the packing desk
Pilot one dispatch decision flow using supported Shopify and app events. Define which checks can be automated, which need a person and who releases a held order. Courier and COD checks depend on the installed apps and their available data.
What we scope together
- A hold/release decision map and an exception queue with an owner.
- Duplicate-event checks, escalation rules and a documented manual release path.
What affects cost: App access, warehouse handoff, event availability, order volume and monitoring requirements.
From review to handover
How the Shopify operations automation pilot works.
Map events, decisions and owners
Walk through one real order or subscription exception with operations. Check the installed apps, Shopify plan, permissions and native workflows before selecting an automation route.
Build one controlled workflow
Agree the trigger, conditions, actions and approval boundary. Give each unresolved state an owner, and decide what happens when an app returns an error or an event arrives late.
Test replay and hand over
Test a successful event, a replay and an out-of-order update. Document alerts, manual recovery and monitoring so the operations team can manage the workflow after release.
Before the review
What to prepare.
- The store URL, Shopify plan and the apps involved in the repeated task.
- A redacted order or subscription example showing both the normal path and an exception.
- The current manual decision rule, who owns it and the support or warehouse system receiving the result.
Remove identifying customer, staff and financial details from initial samples. We agree authorised access and the test environment separately.
Cost and timing
Start with one agreed outcome.
A diagnostic typically takes 2–5 business days after the required samples and access are available. A focused pilot is usually planned over 1–3 weeks, with release following owner sign-off.
These are scoping estimates. We confirm the quote, dependencies and delivery dates after review. Licences, connector or app fees, historical clean-up, additional companies and ongoing maintenance are identified separately.
For this workflow: App access, warehouse handoff, event availability, order volume and monitoring requirements.

Examples and preparation guides.
Our downloadable pack contains synthetic job-work, receipt-exception and source-event examples. Use them to understand the checking method before we work with your approved samples. They are offline demonstrations, and compatibility is established in the agreed test environment.

Questions before you enquire.
What does the first Shopify operations automation pilot cover for Delhi NCR?
Pilot one dispatch decision flow using supported Shopify and app events. Define which checks can be automated, which need a person and who releases a held order. Courier and COD checks depend on the installed apps and their available data.
Do you use Shopify Flow or build a custom app?
We review Shopify Flow and your apps’ native features first. The route depends on the available triggers, actions, permissions and plan. Custom app or integration work is scoped when the required behaviour cannot be delivered reliably with the existing tools.
Does the pilot include ongoing monitoring?
The pilot includes an agreed alert and recovery design with handover instructions. Who watches the alerts, response times and any ongoing maintenance agreement are defined separately before release.
Review a first milestone before payment.
Agree a small deliverable, fee and acceptance checks in writing. Review the work, pay after acceptance and decide whether to continue. Remote delivery in English, led by Raghav with The Night Marketer.
